Throw Them Out!!!

ALL U.S. Representatives are up for re-election in 2014. We could literally clean House, by voting them ALL out of office. Let’s start next year with a new Congress… VOTE OUT all the Incumbents* in 2014. THROW THEM OUT!!!

*Incumbent: Person currently holding office.

WHY???   Here’s a few reasons…

  1. Our children are going to have to pay back all the money that Congress has borrowed for the BANKING BAILOUT! That’s IMMORAL and IRRESPONSIBLE!!!
  2. They have rewarded the same bankers & criminals who caused this Financial Crisis, giving them Billions of our Tax Dollars
  3. They care more about keeping their own jobs, than they do about upholding the Constitution! For the fifth year in a row, Congress voted to take their automatic pay raise, while the rest of America is taking pay cuts or losing their jobs.
  4. Our soldiers are STILL in Iraq, fighting a war based on lies!
  5. They voted to build bridges in Iraq, while America’s are falling apart.
  6. They spend more time raising money for their next election than they do JUST READING the LAWS they PASS!
  7. They continue to spend our tax dollars like drunks, which means higher taxes for all, and even higher taxes for our children.
  8. They voted to allow the FBI, CIA and others, to spy on US citizens. They can tap your phone, search your house when you’re not home and not have to tell you.
  9. Over One Million Iraqis dead!
  10. Congress — both Republicans AND Democrats — have voted overwhelmingly to send more of our money and our children (soldiers) to war!.
“We, the people” need to tell Congress and the Senate, “YOU’RE FIRED!!!”  What are YOUR reasons to Throw Them Out???  Leave a comment below…

  • Fu Iraq says:

Who cares about #9 a million is 20 million too few.

  • bobby says:

i think we should all vote for micky mouse and send them a message, he would at least do a better job!!!

  • Rosemary Redfield says:

THROW THEM OUT – THEY SUCK!!! Our forefathers must be turning over in their graves. They are not for the people, they are for themselves! All they care about is their paychecks and lavish lifestyles. That’s all they strive for – they are a disgrace to what was once a magnificent country. THROW THE BUMS OUT! Let’s get some unselfish new blood with brains and hearts that are truly for the people; ones that will work hard to put back the factories that once made fine products in the USA and provided for proud work ethics alike the 50-60′s – a society that winged values. Our congress is lazy and self-centered. THROW THEM OUT! VOTE THEM OUT! Let’s get to work.

  • ml says:

Do we need all these politicians ???
corruption everywhere and nobody is doing anything about it…

  • Tina says:

Congress and the House of Representives need term limitations!!!! there all leagalized theives, see if they can live on a minimum wage job.Obama,Barry is destoying America! There should be a houeswife,barber,plumber,painter,etc.etc. in the House to represent we the people not all lawyers and rich people. It’s a terrible secret government we have now! They need to be thrown out now.We the people can’t pay our monthly bills to LIVE,and stop lying on the mind control television and enslaving us to the federal reserve.

  • Scott says:

    10 Point Platform from replaceDC.org :
End the Federal Reserve Banking System – A private banking cartel hijacked our country over the Christmas holiday in 1913. We are now debt slaves to offshore private bankers.

Abolish the Personal Income Tax – Its purpose is to guarantee interest payments to the Federal Reserve on their loans to our government.

Restore Private Property Rights – After the system has bankrupted you the taxman shows up to take your last means of supporting yourself.

End the Federal Government Police State – In taxing the populace you’ll need muscle to collect. The IRS, FBI and CIA are always “there to help”.

End the Federal War On Drugs – National police forces need justification and lots of money. Prohibition increases prices, then demand and crime.

Rescind Mountains of Legislation – With government dictating the daily affairs of the people it all has to be “legal” to keep the people in line.

Cut All Wasteful Federal Spending – No DC politician ever saw a bill he couldn’t insert some pork into. After 100 years of this we’re deep in debt.

No United Nations and No World Government – The bankers and their willing accomplice politicians in DC want to expand their control globally.

End the Wars – Bring the Troops Home – Make no mistake people. Our beloved military has been hijacked to enforce THEIR will on the world.

Reaffirmation of the Bill of Rights – Our founding fathers KNEW what to expect. It happened. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are our relief.

Because they are doing nothing but hurting America and is why the Bible does not mention America in Revelation.

  • HopeNJesus says:

Did you hear that Dr. Jill Rowland has a shot at beating Congresswoman Louise Slaughter in November? Yes!!! Another long-time Incumbent could bite-the-political dust on November 2nd! Let’s do it!

Tell everyone you know, who wants Slaughter out, to pass this on to people in New York, District 28. Tell them to GET OUT AND VOTE Dr. Jill Rowland in on Nov. 2nd: http://www.jillrowlandfornewcongress.com/

  • Mark Hall says:

To Throw Them Out is Great but not goood enough. We must throw them out and replace them with Citizen Representatives. Our founding fathers intended the Senate to be comprised of seasonded statesmen but clearly intended the Representatives to come from the private sector and serve for a short period of time and return to their chosen profession. GOOOH (go) Get Out Of Our House is the process to make this happen. Go to goooh.com and join – we don’t want money – we want you membership to build our base to remove the career politicians in 2012.

  • Brian Sanderson says:

Governors of 35 states have already filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

An idea whose time has come!

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest was to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform … in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn’t seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law.

I truly don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.

A Constitutional Convention – this is a good way to do that. It is an idea whose time has come.

Should this movement be successful, I would then propose a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution, it would be plain and simple. It need not be 1000 pages-

“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States .”

I am Brian Sanderson and I approve this message.

  • Bob says:

Frankly, It’s Time to Reconsider & Redefine Our Values & Get Our Priorities In Order. It’s not a Democratic or Republican Thing. It’s about Our U. S. Constitution and Our Bill of Rights. It’s about Limited Government and Corruption; which is destroying America. It is Time for We the People to — Wake Up & Think Purple! Knowledge is Power & What We Don’t Know Is Destroying America! We the People Best — Wake Up Before Our Human Rights & Freedoms Are Swallowed Up & Wiped Out! We are Being Enslaved by Chaotic Design? It is but a Terrible Disgrace as Corporate Security Hides Behind National Security. Now is the Time for Action. It is Time to Evict Incompetent and / or Corrupt Career Politicians & Out-Law Special Interest Influence-Peddling.

  • Todd R says:

Regardless, A French style re-vote, is in order.

Even if you throw them out of office they retain their pensions. and healthcare.

I for one, do not wish to pay for them anymore.

  • Dorothy says:

We have to do something even if it is an ‘uphill battle’. Vote every incumbent out of office in order to show them that we are fed up.
I also suggest people pay off their credit card debts. The banks are theives, and we need to send them a message too. It’s time to take back our country from large corporations and career politicians that do corporations’ bidding. Americans need to start participating in their government and know the issues.

I’d like to see a petition started, with my name at the top of the list for this one.

I am not the author of this, but I wholeheartedly agree with it:
    Congressional Reform Act of 2010
    1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.
    A. Two Six year Senate terms
    B. Six Two year House terms
    C. One Six year Senate term and three Two Year House terms
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    2. No Tenure / No Pension: A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security: All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, Congress participates with the American people.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, server your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
    7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work. Or go to jail, if appropriate.
    8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

    • Francis Benson says:

I for one heartily approve of this little piece of rhetorical vision, and would encourage you to find some way to make all or part of it a reality. I’ll vote for it.

  • Diane M. Wilhelm says:

I was the incumbent in an office position that I took over following the death of a Republican office holder. I stirred some noise when I was voted in by the Democratic Town Board. I knew at the time I was playing “politics” to get the position and the salary that went along with it. I have no college education. The position pays $73,900. I got the job because I knew precisely how to play the political game. When my constituents and detractors became angry over my nomination without actual election by the people, I stirred up a whole-lot-of-noise. I didn’t really care. First I wanted the money, the prestige, and lastly the job. Besides the job isn’t all that attractive. Quite honestly its the MONEY!! Ha … Ha … I won! And I didn’t really care how I did it. That’s POLITICS. And I know how to play and win the game precisely.. So you may think that just by voting someone out of office is actually going to solve your problems: you’re all WRONG!! A political figure is there because they know how to play the political game. It also helps that they “know people.”

    • Tina Rey says:

What a snob you are! Bully for you! I’m glad I don’t live in your area. You deserve to be hauled out on your buns!

    • Francis Benson says:

Well, the man has a point. Suggest you read the comment immediately proceeding this jerk, where you find the solution to “just in it for the money”. That article also makes some very good points.

    • Donald says:

What a snob you are!!! I can recall from reading in the papers that many people opposed you being elected by a town board members and your husband wrote to the paper in protest. You weren’t elected by the people FOR THE PEOPLE!!! You were elected FOR YOURSELF! YOU PROBABLY DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO BE FOR THE PEOPLE!

  • Debbie says:

I think America is the laughing stock of this world. Our history is nothing but lie after lie. That is why all good leaders have been assassinated. Those who want to be honest are killed, for greed, I’m bigger and better then you! I’m part of corporate mob now, and I have loop holes to kill you now, and I have loop hole even to hide what I have done. If you knew what I know, you’d cry, and be sick to your stomach too.

  • WE THE POEPLE says:

Educate as manny poeple you can of this movement, and we can take back this country from the opresors of our creativity.
So we can Live with respect and dignity for ourselves. Instead of being enslaved with taxes and forced healthcare payments that would pay for a large portion of the population who have never contributed, will never contribute to a decent society.
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND SO DO I

    • JohnGalt says:

This is not about parties and it’s not just about Obamacare. It’s about their voting records on ALL issues. You must not have checked out the Report Card on this site for Senators. All the Republican Senators (as well as Dems) up for re-election, with the possible exception of Coburn and DeMint, have voted against the Constitution, against their Oath, and need to be removed. They either voted for Bush’s Bailout or other un-Constitutional bills.

The louder message here is, that by throwing all or at least the majority of Congress out of office, no one is safe anymore. We are watching and voting accordingly. So you better start listening to the voters instead of special interests and obey the Constitution and your oath to do so.

    • WE THE POEPLE says:

      dont forget the republicans

    • H Woods says:

Floyd, although I agree with the Senators you listed; I have to say you missed a few. Those being Republicans in the Senate. This is not a conservative movement to vote people out, this is not a liberal movement. It has got to be a common sense movement. They are all corrupt with their only goal being to get re-elected. They all need to go!!! Lets wake up the Democrat and Republican parties.

    • Francis Benson says:

In reply to the original list of Senators, and also to the replies to the comment: There is a faction in the U.S. Congress, and the administrations, for some decades now, who call themselves “Progressives”. THESES IN PARTICULAR are the ones to be afraid of. “Progressive” is the new buzzword for “Communist/Marxist”! Please listen carefully for those who claim to be “Progressive”; the likes of both Clintons, as well as John McCain! Yes, our vietnam war hero who was in a Communist POW camp all those years proclaims himself to be “Progressive”! This has got to be the pen-ultimate example of the Stockholm Syndrome. BE AWARE, LISTEN CAREFULLY! All thes people want the overthrow of the American gov’t and way of free Constitutional life.

  • Wayne says:

Its too late folks. The current level of corruption & damage to the system of self governing for which our forefathers entrusted future generations to preserve and uphold, is now deteriorated to a level such that we the people no longer possess an ability to overcome the corporate devils and their government pawns that have raped our beloved country and its people.
If you vote out every incumbant, who is waiting to take their place?Just another candidate that has climbed the ladder of corruption that begins early on at the lowest rungs of city government.Greed, corruption, and corporate influence have permeated every aspect of government at every level, not to mention our educational systems. The only thing that will reverse the course were on now is a cleaning of the slate, maybe the next asteroid to collide with our planet,or a new biological event, who knows what it will be.One thing is for sure however, this state of things we find ourselves in is not new to our planet,History repeats itself, many times over.We are just someone elses future archeological dig waiting to happen.

  • Frank Keller says:

I agree that this proposal is proper.
(You already know the next word)

    However——————-

Every last one of them are aware of and continuously act on the political axiom of
saying they are being responsible while pandering to all identifiable minorities in their district. This strategy creates a political situation where 90% of congressmen are always and forevermore “bulletproof”.

  • HL says:

The problem isn’t continuity of government or voting too many out. Quite the opposite, it is not possible to vote them all out and we need a transfer, not a continuation, of power.
It isn’t a worry of what would happen if we vote them out that concerns me, it’s that our structure does not allow us to do it.

Vote the whole House out next year and the Senate composition does not change, the executive remains in place. No change of direction. Popular will expressed in the House is obstructed by the slow and plodding Senate. Filibusters, ridiculous committee rules, and the bicameral process guarantee that the Senate will throw back unacceptable legislation to the House, if anything at all.

You’d have to vote the whole House 3 times, the Senate twice, and the executive once in order to change the government. It’s a 6 year sustained process in order to insure that there is continuity whether we want it or not.

Our founders did not envision either the need or ability to peacefully change the government in a shorter period of time. Our Constitution does not provide for even the recall of Congressional delegations by the States, we can’t even pull them out or make them resign to effect change.

Late 19th and early 20th century populist/ progressives flirted for a time with notion of a unicameral legislature – no Senate. Might be time to revisit the living Constitution movement that inspired the likes of Roosevelt and Wilson.

    • JohnGalt says:

It’s true that only a third of the Senate could be thrown out in one election, but I think the idea here and with other like-minded sites is that having all or most of the House voted out would be a very loud message that couldn’t be ignored by any politician. Another great “shot heard ’round the world”!

      J. Galt

      • Shawn says:

You can chop off the top of a weed but, it don’t kill the weed, this has to start at your home, your local school district, our children are being taught things and ways that don’t make sense. We have to start literally from the ground up to have any success. We homeschool, teach that there is a God. We must do what others are not willing to do. Teach the Constitution to everyone that will listen. Make people understand that you are responsible for your actions and yourself. You lookout for your fellow man if they need help. Big govt will no longer be a threat once people raised this way and live this way are in office. The rest will take care of itself.

    • Of course, what the Constitution actually DOES call for is the Senators being selected by the State legislatures. So Congress is the “people’s” voice, and the Senate is the “States’” voice – keeping the rampant Federalism at bay. Senators were also thus accountable and removable. Who thought having popular election for them was a good idea??

  • Stuart Harris says:

    I agree. Throw them out.

They will not listen until their jobs are at stake. Think: How much legislation is passed with the sole purpose of buying votes?

The founders rejected a democracy for just this reason, it allowed officials to buy votes. I guarantee that after 1 election where all incumbents are thrown out, they will start to take us seriously, after 2 such elections those remaining will be terrified enough to pay attention and make real change.

Currently, they have nothing but contempt for us, as demonstrated with their arrogant responses to the TEA parties and town hall meetings. Why? Because we continue to accept their bribes and vote them back into office.

We are the problem by allowing them to stay.

This is further illustrated with their late night meetings. Every person who called for and/or supported the most recent midnight dicussion and vote should be immediatly impeached.

After watching our current congress, I can fully understand why the French put their leaders to the guillotine.

For those worried about changing too many people, don’t, the elections are spaced out enough that even if all are replaced on any single election, there will still be continuity of government. (Although, it might be better if we impeached them all and started fresh.)

Until Freedom loving Americans get serious and vote these thieves out of office, we’ll get more of the same and the few remaining freedoms we have will be lost. If we loose the rest of our freedoms now, we will not get them back without bloodshed.

  • Jim P. says:

I’m all for removing every last one of them.
But would this not creat a problem, in much as after serving One term they get a full pension for life!

  • HL says:

Has anyone considered the strategies needed to sustain a voter drive to change the government?

The Senate rolls over in 2012 and 2014. The House rolls in 2010, 2012, and 2014. This will require a sustained push through three House, two Senate, and one Presidential election cycle.

Our Founders envisioned a stable government on a long-term course making decisions at the speed of stagecoach mail. The idea that we may need rapid action and need to make immediate changes was as alien to them as the ability to do so. Our Constitution is set up so as not to allow the envisioned instability of large changes.

Further, the two party system has ensconced the existing parties in such a way that each State makes other parties run a gauntlet of qualifications, sometimes down to the County level, to put candidates on the ballot. Beyond that, show me the “free” press and TV coverage that would give the time of day to alternatives in more than passing paragraphs and soundbites. Show me the fundraising mechanisms which allow the employment of professional, experienced campaign organizers and managers.

I share your anger and frustration but, if you’re really serious about getting something done, this will be a very difficult and patient business which will take a lot of time, a lot of work, money, persistence, and an ability to weather constant setbacks. Always keep in mind that losing peacefully is a mark of good democracy. It is never a sign that you were wrong but only a sign that you failed to make your case. This will be an uphill battle.

    • Stuart Harris says:

As for strategies, this web site is a good start. There must be an honorable group of people who understand marketing and psychological warfare to create a campaign to throw them out. This group must solicit funds and launch a sophisticated grass-roots campaign to reach every American. Part of this must include someone on talk radio as a voice to mobilize people to action. Unfortunately, our current talking heads (Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity) are all about talking about the problems, but they refuse to call people to action.

There must be a single focus, a call to action (vote them out), a marketing campaign that also recognizes the aspects of war that the enemy will use against us and the funds to carry it out.

It is nothing short of a miracle that a group of honorable men created our constitution in the first place. Most times in history, such groups only sought power. I offer my highest praises to the Founders of America, who sought for freedom for all instead of power for a few.

  • BigSkyLove says:

All our talk and indignation mean nothing if our money is still going to fund and power the system and persons in place. Only once we present a unified front by refusing to pay taxes will we demonstrate our power. A just democracy is one where each vote counts as one, there are more than two parties at any given time, and each person is free to vote for whatever candidate they wish regardless of their party affiliation. While we’re at it, we should designate where our tax dollars go. Checking off those items that we agree to pay for (healthcare… yes, education… yes, affordable housing… yes, war… no, corporate bailouts… no, etc.)

  • kc says:

For me it is the destruction of my country. The usurping of our rights. The dismantling of every timber in our framework..with a scheming agenda to destroy all the america has ever stood for or been..and i mean the good things..to change us into a ‘socialized’ peasantry. We are not Europe and if i wanted to live like that–i’d be there not here. They are speaking for “justice” and “healing” but are perpetuating division, hatred, fear, dependence, hopelessness, and selfishness. Give a man a fish and you feed him a meal..teach a man to fish and you free him to feed himself and his family.

  • DH says:

Listen up……..the process of taking away our rights began over 50 years ago, right around the time when Kennedy was assasinated for “attempting” to get rid of the Federal Reserve. “They” are selling you a pack of lies which sends you into fear and keeps you right where they want you to be, blaming the person standing next to you instead of the master manipulators. WE the PEOPLE, the commoners (the dispensable) must unite to take back our freedom, sovereignty and homeland. Hopefully it’s not too late…….Marshall Law has been put onto the books by most states “just in case” and right under our noses (H1N1). The Patriot Act for the first time in this country’s history allows our military forces to be used against its own citizens. Why? Take a look around you…….it’s all about control. Wake up from the illusion that all is well, start by throwing them all out of office.

The West Sponsors Terrorists in Iran

In 2005, Scott Ritter, former UN weapons inspector, reported that, “the Mujahadeen el-Khalq, or MEK, an Iranian opposition group, once run by Saddam Hussein’s dreaded intelligence services,” was now working for the CIA in terror bombings inside Iran.[70] In February of 2007, the Telegraph reported that, “America is secretly funding militant ethnic separatist groups in Iran in an attempt to pile pressure on the Islamic regime to give up its nuclear programme.”

UPDATE: The resolution has been passed by the California Democratic Party Executive Board, Rick Reyes reports.
Here is the text of the resolultion:
End the U.S. Occupation & Air War in Afghanistan
WHEREAS the California Democratic Party, concerned citizens and lawmakers are calling for a U.S. exit strategy from Afghanistan that will end the occupation and air war while ensuring the safety and security of our troops, our nation, and the region; while even the U.S. Ambassador General Karl Eikenberry expresses concern about corruption in the Afghan government and our inability to stabilize the situation; and
WHEREAS the plight of women in Afghanistan is such that they continue to bear an esxpecially heavy price under an eight-year occupation, and that far from eradicating the Taliban and other insurgencies, the presence of foriegn troops has instead strengthened them, creating greater insecurity, death and impoverishment of the Afghan, people; and
      WHEREAS a majority of Americans are increasingly distrubed about the toll the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan is taking on the honorable young men and women who have been killed and wounded, on the families of the these young men and women, as our involvement there continues to cost billions each month while the United States and particularly the state of California are in an economic crisis without money to fund domestic needs;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the California Democratic Party, in adiition to reiterating its support for a time-table for withdrawal of our miltary personnel, calls for an end ot the use of mercenary contractors, as well as an end to air strikes that cause heavy civilian casualties, and urges our President to oversee a redirection of our funding and resources and to include an increase in humanitarian and developmental aid, multi-party talks aimed at ensuring a democratic and legitimate representation of the people of Afghanistan, as well as multi-party regional diplomacy for the safety and stability of neighboring countries; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the California Democratic Party Congressional delegation, as well as to President Obama.

DO NOT be surprised, if because of ONE fistfight at a Tea-party, he institutes Martial Law and disallows any more elections…. Frankly, I’m surprised he has not yet done that. And there will be nothing we can do, not even a gun-totin’ violent revolution. You have pea-shooters; he has nukes. And he’s the C.in C. It MUST of necessity be NON-violent.

They all need to be tossed because they are not in touch with the people. They do not pursue to goals of the people, only their own selfish goals. They are not representative of the people; they seem to think they are better/smarter/above and we are mere peons/subjects. They are out of touch. Why do they think their judgment is better than the judgment of those they represent. They are there to vote their constituents will not their own will. Time for them all to go a begin fresh.

  • Mike Spalding says:

They all need to be tossed because of irresponsible spending and unconscionable curtailment of individual liberties.

  • Ray says:

They will not listen to the American people. They lie and twist the truth to promote their own agenda. they do not represent our interests

  • Paul Kruger says:

I believe in addition to replacing Congress we need to reform campaign finance to use only public funds and no private or corporate contributions. It is the serving of these “paying” customers that puts Congress’s interest ahead of the people.

We also need to educate voters so we don’t see uneducated false posts such as:

“…We have a foreign-born non-naturalized citizen for a president, who is also a hostile Muslim, not a Christian as he claims.”

As long as voters allow themselves to be led like sheep to believe anything the opposition want us to believe, those voters will continue to vote against their own best interests. It is lies and distortions spread by those who want to keep the status quo that stand in the way of an educated vote for public servants over “politicians”.

  • Sharon North says:

It will take more than voting now. We have a foreign-born non-naturalized citizen for a president, who is also a hostile Muslim, not a Christian as he claims. Throwing out all members of congress will help, but only solves half of the problem. I believe a two term limit should be imposed with a block on those members coming back later on.

Uninformed voters are what Obama wants. We need a Constitutional referendum to spell out precisely what has been left out thus allowing congress to wing it as admitted by Rep-D/SC Charles Clyburn on a recent interview. He stated that if not specifically spelled out in the Constitution, Congress does what they want to. Over the last forty-plus years they have done just that. Now we have real mess. I also believe no one should be eligible to run for any federal political office without a thorough background check and who qualifies for a Secret clearance. Obama’s documentation to prove his eligibility for even state political office has never been presented. I am all for cleaning his house then proceeding to clear out all homesteaders in U.S. Congress.

    • Paul Kruger says:

It is people like you who buy this distortion that stand in the way of an educated vote for politicians. Lies like these are spread by the right fringe to undermine our ability to think for ourselves. It is a LIE that his documents were not presented…they were shown over and over and certified by the State of Hawaii as being correct. But the right-wing-nuts just close their eyes when evidence does not support their ranting and raving. They hate him because of the color of his skin but don’t have the guts to state the real reason, so use anything else they can contrive to try to stain his office.

It is also a LIE that he is not a Christian but a Muslim. Please prove YOU are not a secret Muslim even though you have a long history of going to Christian Churches. What makes him ( or you ) a Muslim…someone saying you are?

      //

      • KLM says:

Ummm, excuse me but we “right-wing-nuts” don’t hate Obama because of the color of his skin. We are furious with the way he is “running the country.” Maybe you should also educate yourself.

  • Don VanZandt says:

These people are not patriots nor are they representative of their constituency. They have no respect for our forefathers or our constitution. They feather their own bed while degrading the working folks by pandering to special interests. We have blatant Tyranny in this country right now due to complacency, but when the sleeping lion wakes, all should be concerned.

  • Freddy Ferro says:

Mr Obama and his politicians swore an oath to protect and defend our constitution and they have done nothing but negate, disregard and degrade our constitution.
This is “TREASON” and something needs to be done about it. Treason is defined as Betrayal of Trust. Isn’t an oath to affirm trust?
Here is the oath. you can find it at about.com: US Politics or at http://uspolitics.about.com/od/usgovernment/a/oaths_of_office_4.htm. Under Oaths of Office For Federal Officials:

The current oath was enacted in 1884:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

The public swearing-in ceremony consists of Representatives raising their right hands and repeating the oath of office. This ceremony is led by the Speaker of the House, and no religious texts are used. Some members of Congress later hold separate private ceremonies for photo ops.

  • The only infallible, unstoppable, guaranteed way to get a truly new Congress is :
NEVER REELECT ANY INCUMBENT! AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

The American voter must IMPOSE term limits by NEVER REELECTING ANYONE IN CONGRESS, AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION! In other words, don’t let anyone serve more than one term. That’s the only way to teach them that the voter is boss! The “one term limit” can be eased AFTER citizens get control of Congress.

Congress will never allow us to constitutionally term limit them by an amendment. Our only choice is to NEVER REELECT them. All of them!

The number of ‘good guys’ left in Congress is negligible, so if we threw ALL 535 members out, we wouldn’t do as much damage as the good we would gain by by turning Congress into a bunch of honest, innocent freshmen.

Some of the reasons in favor of this approach:

    • It gives us a one-term, term limited Congress without using amendments
    • It would be supported by 70% of the country who want term limits for Congress
    • It is completely non-partisan
    • If repeated, it ends career politicians dominating Congress
    • It opens the way to a “citizen Congress”
    • It ends the seniority system that keeps freshmen powerless
    • It doesn’t cost you any money…but you MUST vote, just NOT for any incumbent
    • It is the only guaranteed, infallible, unstoppable way to throw them ALL out”
    • It takes effect immediately the day after Election Day
    • If it doesn’t work, do it again and again! It will work eventually, I promise.

NEVER REELECT ANYONE IN CONGRESS. AND DO IT EVERY ELECTION!

    Nelson Lee Walker of tenurecorrupts.com

  • If you have wondered why the government passes laws that virtually everyone opposes, like the bank bailout, and why the government refuses to investigate and prosecute obvious crimes, like torture and murder, check out Why Does the Government Ignore Our Wishes? at http://dailycensored.com/2009/09/11/why-does-the-government-ignore-our-wishes/

If you take a look, you’ll learn why they get away with horrible crimes. My article on torture includes a link to the U.S. Supreme Court case which explains how one of our stolen rights makes the difference between freedom and slavery.

If you aren’t sure whether or not they should be thrown out, take a look, and you’ll see that they know about the torture of millions of Americans and have done nothing to stop it. That’s another big reason to throw them all out.

  • George Grieninger says:

I’m tired of all the corruption and outright lying and wordsmithing that this “CONGRESS” has learned and refuses to even to listen to the American Citizens concerns when as a majority we overwhelmingly opposed the bailouts. I contacted all of my representatives before “BUSH” left office and made them aware of where I stood and apparently so did a majority of our citizens, their reply was pretty universal, they appreciated our opinions, but they would do as they thought best for the country, even though the majority was against it. None of them take no for an answer, they just keep trying to hammer us into submission. Even now with health care, they just don’t get it. So let’s vote all of them out, NOW!

  • Jim says:

Government will not listen unless they are fearful of their vote. We need to set our own term limits if they wont. Let them have 2 terms and then boot them!!!!!

  • n. Michael day says:

Agree with you and will work to toss them all out.

  • John says:

Borrowing from foreign banks which then gets added to our National Debt! These guys are out of control!

  • Let me know YOUR reasons to Throw Them Out!

The Debt Ceiling Vote: Patriots vs. Traitors

The names of Congressmen and Senators are posted here, as Patriots or Traitors, who honored or not, their Oath to the Constitution and the American People; to decry or not the myth (lie) being perpetrated by the status quo that America won’t be able to pay its debt; to pay off or extend our debt to our children and grandchildren. (This chart is based solely on SB 365, the bill on raising the debt ceiling 1 Aug 2011. You may find some who are more Traitor than Patriot amongst the names, but on this vote, they voted against more Debt.)

16 Comments to The Debt Ceiling Vote: Patriots vs. Traitors

  • The whole government has committed treason against the country investigate them and if they are found guilty, use harshest punishment against them and seize all there assets and put it back in to US funds. And all civilians involved, the same punishment. Thank you, William Mutters

  • The American Voters give a 6% approval to the way Congress and it’s members do their jobs.
We need to get these Liars, Cheats, Self-Serving and Selfish, among other ugly and dishonest traits out of the wasted space their taking up.

I Pray the American people would make a Solidarity effort to kicks these ‘CHEATERS OUT OF OFFICE”

The problem is getting this soildarity among people.

Some Citizens tend to look the “other way” if their not directly affected by the way Congress
does “business”. In the end we ALL Pay, in various ways.

We have a RIGHT To VOTE these people out.
    LET’S DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Larry M says:

I agree that something needs to be done to make congress more responsive. The debt ceiling vote though is a farce. Congress voted for a budget, it should be considered funded either diretly or through debt.

  • Paul Lotts says:

I’m disgusted with these politicians! Not only to they get paid too much and in office way too long, they are “crooks” by gleaning insider info to make profits. This doesn’t happen in the private sector without major penalties. Let’s throw them all out — they can’t even decide what to cut to get out house in order. I’m totally disgusted.

  • Stephen says:

yes we should throw them out, but I find zero constitutional basis to do so. I KNOW that this website is acorruption of the voice of the people and, because it is corporately sponsored as an attempt to violate the constitutional rights of CITIZENS by non persons, is in itself CRIMINAL.

The proof will be if I am posted or not!

    • John Galt says:

Oops! You got posted! There goes that theory.

And corporately sponsored??? What corporation would put up a site railing against the legislators who make laws for and against them? That would be suicide!

Every 2 years, we have elections so we can keep them in office or “throw them out”… yeah… it’s in the Constitution.

      • Larry M says:

Right. And 80% of the House gets re-elected. (see opensecrets.org). Funding is a big barrier to having competitive elections. Perhaps members of congress should wear patches like NASCAR.

  • Donnie says:

The congress thinks that they are above the law and have for years. We need to boot them out and elect people that are going to work for us. They need term limits they do not need to be comfortable in those positions. They work for us.

  • IT IS TIME DUMP CONGRESS,THEY NEED TO BE FIRED..ALL OF THEM,LETS START OVER,WISE UP AMERICA..JUST HOW MUCH WILL YOU TAKE,BEFORE ACTING ON ELECTION DAY..WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING FOR OURSELVES,IF THEY WILL NOT..COME ON GET MAD AND CHANGE THE DIRECTION.HAVE YOU NOT HAD ENOUGH OF THEIR GAME PLAYING, I HAVE….

  • VOTERS
LETS vote these people in CONGRESS out.I have seen and heard enough, they CONGRESS ARE NOT SERVING US..THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT US,WE NEED PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT AMERICANS,SENIORS,FAMILIES.THEY ARE A DISGRACE,THEY THINK WE ARE STUPID.THEY ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF LITTLE CHILDREN.IF YOU DO NOT VOTE THE WAY THEY WANT IN CONGRESS,THEY WILL TAKE THEIR GAVEL AND GO HOME,WHAT A JOKE,WE SUFFER..

  • John says:

Ron Paul (along with everyone else who voted for the Obama Tax Plan in December 2010) should be thrown out. They voted YES to add almost a trillion dollars to the national debt, and then complain about the debt ceiling. That is the textbook definition of a hypocrite! (Voting YES to borrow and spend the money, and then voting NO to pay it back is also the textbook definition of a deadbeat!)

  • trent says:

you cant run a GLOBAL war on NATIONAL taxes.

Either bring home the troops, close the thousand overseas bases, close all but the major domestic bases,

and bring the military to the founders size-

OR pay massive taxes by the top wage earners who are claiming they ‘support’ all these expenditures- let them show their support with a massive war tax levied on top wage earners.

Bet the wars and foreign intervention stops fast when the supporters actually have to support it financially.

  • Eric Robinette says:

The house must be cleaned of corruption and greed. Both Republicans and Democrats alike are guilty, guided and directed by criminal corporations.

  • Jm says:

Let’s not throw out the representatives who agree with our position. it can get worse. Figure out who your voting for, then vote. In 2010, we hurt our own cause when we slaughtered the blue dogs; replaced with sheep. The blue dogs were in agreement with us, and in the other sides camp! They should have been valued allies and the fact that they weren’t is further evidence of the incompetence and ignorance of our fellow voters.

You lost my respect at “bible”, keep that shat to yourself.

  • Let me know YOUR reasons to Throw Them Out!
